Did you know…

  • There is about 500 pounds of flour in my house right now waiting to be used to bake?
  • That FBB has given away almost $1500 this year (not including the massive holiday orders were getting)?
  • That we were able to give to a Haiti relief fund after their storms from Hurricane Tomas a few weeks ago?
  • That burlap sheds lots and lots and lots? And leaves you house in a cloud? (Ask Dottie Kratz about that one!)
  • That next week we have several families who are being thankful and helping feed some other families by serving FBB bread on their tables?
  • We’re looking for the same type of folks who will do the same at Christmas?
  • That Ted from Impact Graphics is going to screen print all the handmade bags for NEXT TO NOTHING (I get to make him some bread in exchange) so we can give more away?
  • That I’m pregnant? smile.
  • You could have all your Christmas shopping done in one phone call or email to me?
  • We might have found a larger kitchen to work out of? We’ll see what happens…
  • I’d like to know who reads this blog? So leave me a comment so I know who is actually checking in on us…I’d appreciate it!
  • That nine ladies gathered 2 weeks ago to make these fabulous bread bags were selling? Here are some picts of the event.

The sewing table.

The master tracer of the handles.

  • Tammy, the queen bee and designer of the bags...Leah in the background cutting things up.

Bethany, a big FBB team player.

Maylee, the newborn, was lots of help. Thanks, Ashley, for coming!

Dottie, the fabulous hostess that let us dirty ever nook of her house with burlap.

Picts of the bags coming as soon as we get them back from the printer!  I’m telling you…you’re going to want one.

The bags look so good! Let me know about your baking for Christmas plans in the bigger kitchen! :-) I may have some free time to help during Finals week (the 13th and 14th I don’t have to give exams, so as long as nothing else comes up, I could help!). And…I’m bringing you my Christmas order tomorrow! :-)
